About Kei YOSHIMINE
Naturally creative and artistic, Kei began exploring photography from an early age, where framing a fragment from his daily life became a natural way to express himself.
Upon graduating from Keio University, he has spent a decade in both Japanese and global advertising agencies, where he worked as a consultant. He bridged between logic built on research and strategy, implemented through artistic expression into photography, web design, graphic design, and copywriting, bringing the identity of his client's products and brands to life.
The year 2010 became a turning point for Kei, returning to his passion for photography this time more mindfully, being called to finding his photographic expression. He expanded into themes such as portrait, landscape, architecture, and still objects. His new endeavor reflected on re-identifying his voice and identity, which led him to begin working on personal projects away from his marketing career, taking photographs professionally.
Aside from his pursuit of producing compelling photography, his enthusiasm extends to other creative themes such as graphic, industrial, architectural, and interior design. He loves playing classical music on his piano and lives with a Shiba-inu. Kei lives in Tokyo, Japan.
